Marvellous Mottisfont

Today we took my Mother to Mottisfont Abbey (NT property on the River Test, near Romsey).During June it is notable for its famous rose garden. As it was such a beautiful day, there were a lot of visitors, but it  didn't spoil our enjoyment  of the gardens. The  main  shows a corner of the walled rose garden with climbing roses, and a  lovely peony in the foreground. The extras show  details  of a rose and a bearded iris.
