Little Lady

This week I more or less decided that I will be focusing my research on this little Lady: Lasius claviger, the Smaller Yellow Ant. These ants keep hundreds of aphids in their nests and I will be studying this interaction. The photo shows a mounted specimen that I made last week. Christoph von Beeren took the picture.
