A day along the South Coast

We turned right yesterday morning and went west, along the coast heading to Lyme Regis. Its a pretty wee place with a Wharf known as the Cob famous for  the filming of John Fowles book The French Leuitenants Wife and also Jane Austen setting her book Persuasion there.
Lots of people enjoying the sun and swimming.  The tiny harbour was full of fishing boats, mainly crabbing l think.
My extra is  an 1879 notice regarding fees for  transporting goods from and into the harbour.  Set in 'old' money  - shillings and pence.
