Malta

An early start this morning to head to the airport but well worth it to get the Malta in time for a beer in the afternoon sunshine on the rooftop terrace before a quick swim.

Malta is so fascinating. Mediterranean with a bit of a North African feel but with a few nods to Britain too. Wonderfully warm with plenty of interesting places to explore and food to try.

Our hotel is pretty swanky which came as a bit of a pleasant surprise considering the budget price of our holiday. Totally chuffed to have a choice of lovely little pools to dip into.

Dinner was pizza and pasta with a lovely Maltese wine. Lush.
