Chaos Is Coming

Dropped on the mat today the Cornwall Council map of road closures for Armed Forces Day 23 over the weekend 23, 24, 25 June.
Knowing how snarled up Falmouth can get when we have a couple thousand for the Red Arrows it’s difficult to understand how Cornwall Council expect to host 100,000 having closed the roads and car parks and providing limited parking in Penryn.
Not my problem, it’s a 400m walk from the front door.

Rowing again in the evening, another beautiful sunny evening, more good time on the water.

Seventy-nine years ago today a lot of other people were on the water heading across the Channel, we owe them a debt.
