Marilyn was busking in Topham Mall this morning. Her little electric keyboard was getting quite wet under the drizzle. I walked past her, then changed my mind and returned and put some money in her tin. She stopped playing and we had a chat. I asked her if I could take a photo. "Oh, I don't photograph very well." "No Problem, we can pass on the photo." "No, you can take my photo." I showed it to her and she liked it, so I offered to email it to her. "Email, that's expensive isn't it?" "Maybe. What if I mail you a print?" "No, bring the print to me, I'm often around here." I will get the photo printed for the next time I am in Adelaide, but I don't have much hope of delivering it. I have walked past that place more than fifty times and I don't remember seeing Marilyn there before.
