Sally Mair - Loving life

Burning Bright

No it's not Cleo's big brother! Isn't he handsome though.
After another cold dull morning we headed out at lunchtime to the zoo. My logic was that if it was a NE wind then being on the south side of a hill should be better and I was more or less right. It was much warmer on the slopes of Corstorphine Hill, and the sun got through.
We are members of the zoo but haven't been for ages so enjoyed our wander round. The extra is of TianTian who will soon be making her way back to China, along with YangGuang, towards the end of this year. They were both more active than I've seen them before.
This evening we watched the final episode of Granite Harbour which for some reason we'd never watched, it's a three part police series set in Aberdeen and was first shown last December. I have to say I wasn't very impressed by either the storyline or the cast. It was good spotting familiar places in Aberdeen though, which was looking good.
I have my morning with Josie tomorrow, so an early start to the day for me.
