Prolific Growth

Following on from yesterday's "unusual viewpoint" blip here is another. This is looking back towards Betty's (glimpsed through the trees) from our forest path. The actual path is hard to spot because the bilberry bushes grow quicker than we wear them away by walking here.
In the foreground is a stand of comfrey. I've spent three years digging up this prolific spreader from the garden and dumping it here in the forest. I hope I'm not starting a new scourge to match the lupins taking over Sweden's roadside verges!
Writing of scourges, Jan mentioned chopping back rowan trees from our garden. You can see here what happens when the forest is felled and rowans are given free reign!
