A trip to Scarborough to pick up supplies and a stop off for lunch on the way back at our local farm shop.
Having not had much exercise recently hopped on my bike and went for a spin. A tough climb out of Pickering up to the edge of the North York Moors at Cawthorne. Some fine views back towards the Vale of Pickering. The Rhododendrons and Foxgloves were colonising an area that had been felled. Really enjoyed my speedy descent back towards home. However there was a sting in the tail with a steep climb back to the castle. Just in time for tea.
