Patience rewarded......

I remember buying a yellow tree peony a number of years ago at a plant fair and being told it would take a few years before it flowered.... well today is that day!! And well worth the wait!!

The warm sunshine has bought out a lot of the peonies today as well as more of the poppies and roses! Time to get the hose out though before they put us on a water ban!

A nice wander round the shops at Leigh this morning and mum and dad found some books they wanted in the charity shops!
