A Day Worth Recording

By Cheeseminer

Wolspotting!

A bird, a blackbird we eventually spotted, was making a right racket in the trees above where I was working.  Looking up, it wasn't the noisy bird I saw, but the first stationary view we've ever had of the Tawney owls, whom we hear frequently.

Presumably the blackbird's nest was nearby and it was doing all it could to deter the predator.  Meanwhile the Tawney would occasionally open one eye with an expression that shouted will you just shut up!
