Cockermouth confluence

I took this photo of the confluence of the rivers Cocker and Derwent at 7.30pm this evening.

Non stop sunshine all day, once again!

The poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge called one of his sons after one of the rivers in Cockermouth...

Fortunately for the lad, he called him 'Derwent Coleridge', not ' Cocker Coleridge'!!!
