For Stuart

We attended a friend's funeral today.  We didn't really know Stuart that well but he was the warmest and most amiable businessman I've ever known.  

Stuart and Pauline are/were fellow B&B / holiday cottage owners - that only being one of several entrepreneurial ventures of varying degrees of success. (We learnt that there may still be some of the 30,000 candles around that Stuart purchased during the Miners Strike / blackout days - days before they unexpectedly went back to work).

Stuart was generous in giving his time to various charities and in encouraging young people, mainly through the scouting movement.

He will be sorely missed by many.
