This morning the Canadian crèche had at least 6 adults and up to 25 goslings. They were all happily strengthening their legs and preening while standing at the top of the weir. At the bottom of the weir the Egytian parents were making their babies hold their position while paddling upstream.
Then a person arrived at an upper bank with a bagful of goose treats.
Glad to have made myself late for work (again) bagging these because my homeward journey was less happy. Blue lights, ladders, ribs, ambulances and a helicopter all hard at work on the riverbank. I've no idea what has taken place and I'm not inclined to hang around gawping.
