Now Watch This.....

...as the adult Starling seemed to demonstrate how to eat suet, to his children.

I had to smile, for even mother nature seems to have the issue of kids not paying attention, and found it ironic that a young blackbird was looking on, and even listening with interest, the same blackbird had to be 'told to leave' a number of times by the Starling.

Once the Starling had left, the young blackbird managed to get a good meal before the rest of the Starling clan turned up, and with the exception of maybe three of them, completely ignored what the adult had done, flapped around a lot, squarked a lot, before flying off to pastures new.
