Goldfinch

The crows had managed to get the sunflower feeder off again this morning and it is badly broken so id in the bin. The birds appeared as usual, looked down and saw no feeder do flew off They are not interested in any of the other feeders.
 I had to go into town to meet Winnie off the bus and tried a few shops but none of the feeders I saw were suitable. I know I can get one in Muir of Ord. I hope it will be crow proof. I hope to have time later to look at photos but my knitting ladies will be here soon so I am off to prepare the tea etc. Poor Winnie has not knitted for many years so she has had a crash lesson in now to purl and now had some wrist warmers on the go.
