On the fridge

I was quite taken with this shadow image of tulips on the fridge door. 
This sunshine every day is nice, a bit like being in France in the summer. I don't think we are getting the temperatures that other areas have, but it is just right for sitting outside, eating outside. However, I think it is about time for some rain now. 

'Moving in' day tomorrow, so we will make sure we are heading in the opposite direction. We will be nowhere near Appleby for the next week. Gordon misses the Gym - funny how it is always closed for these two weeks 'for cleaning'!! There was some excitement yesterday as a 'suspected ordnance' was found under the bridge. Apparently the bridge and surrounding area was closed off and an explosive ordnance disposal team was sent out (from Warcop I assume). Eventually the item was found to be 'an inert training round'. It was taken away and the bridge was opened.
