Country lane

I never get sick of driving along this lane once a week to a village nearby.
The edges are covered with potholes  as it was one of  the main thoroughfares to a neighbouring town when the A road was closed for months during the winter. Then it was lethal if one met anything driving the other way while trying to avoid the ruts and wheel-spinning mud. The Council have patched up the tarmac but have left the rest to the skill of the driver! 

Another lovely hot day and gardening.
