Messing About on the River

I had lunch with a friend in the outside terrace of The Folly Inn which is on the River Medina. It was quite peaceful and the moored boats were gently floating. We had a short walk upriver and saw these youngsters having a training session on the water.
Next week the tranquility will be shattered when the Isle of Wight Festival kicks off. Preparations are well underway about 3 miles upriver from this pub.
