Walking day

We have walked a long way today and some of it in vain. We tried to find a shopping centre which has been torn down but still shows on Google maps and still has signage along the walking path. There were some lovely sights to see along the way including the spiral fountain. The wasted walk meant we sat for a while in a fancy hotel to let my feet rest then walked half way back to get a coffee. We were surprised when a seagull sat nearby and watched our plates. 
Friends arrived at our hotel in the afternoon. Once they were checked in we headed out for dinner then watched the Vivid Sydney drone display with them.
