Nearly done…

The Ards Man is nearly all set for the annual Clyde Cruise with the chaps. The boat has been newly anti-fouled and buffed to a gleam on the outside and we’ve spent this morning tidying and cleaning on the inside. And removing foodstuffs with a use-by date of 2022!

So the next stop will be Sainsburys for a re-vittling. Much beer will be purchased and there’s a strong possibility that gin and whiskey will also make it into the trolley. I have been suggesting various sensible foodstuffs but these have been mostly rebuffed; the crew maintains a mostly liquid diet. There are a couple of boats travelling together on the trip so lots of jolly socialising is involved. This is why the AM spends a week detoxifying once he gets home again!

Meanwhile, as soon as he’s out of the house for a week I will buy myself a big bunch of lilies, which I love and the AM loathes. When the cats away….. :-)
