Sitting pretty!

On the way back from walking the dogs this morning, I saw a deer near the side of the road. I stopped the car about 200 metres away and walked back. ( I don’t think it’s the noise of cars that disturbs them, it’s probably the car stopping)
Anyway, there was this beauty so I took a couple of photos of him.
I then was a bit concerned he might be injured as he didn’t run away, but then he did so I felt a bit guilty about disturbing his morning rest in the sun.
I think he is a young male as you can just make out the “buds” of his antlers.
I’ve said it before but how can anyone shoot these beautiful creatures for pleasure!
