You never know

...what's around the corner.

In to Edinburgh for a visit to the dentist and squeezed in a visit to the Fruitmarket Gallery showing Edinburgh College graduates' work and on the way back watching some questionable dancing to street music. On to the tram to meet up with Mrs Rex at the Gyle only to discover that neither of us could get there because, quote,  "A road vehicle has damaged our overhead wire near the Gyle Centre which means we need to isolate the power to make repairs. Trams will continue to run between Edinburgh Park Station and St Andrew Square. We are working as quickly as possible to resume a full service."

Not quickly enough for me and Mrs Rex. And not a good advert for them the day before they start running the service extension to Newhaven...
