40th birthday picnic

Accidentally caught the balloons at an angle which looked more like 41 but my good friend Em is halfway there anyway seen as we were celebrating her Autumn birthday. It was supposed to be afternoon tea at the Ritz but train strikes finished those plans, not that we’re grumbling about that as the birthday girl herself is a train driver!
Instead she provided lovely handmade gifts for us all, an afternoon tea picnic with proper china plates and teacups and glorious sunshine! A lovely afternoon and a lovely packed day, starting with Park Run in Brum, on to the picnic near the Lickeys, then a road trip to Mom & Dad in the Peaks with a stop off in Shenstone for a drink with D. Phew!
