DRAGONFLY

I was happy to see this dragonfly settle down long enough for a shot today. Unfortunately he was on the grey deck - would have loved to have him land on something without grain so that the delicate veining in his wings showed more, but I'll settle for this. I had an opportunity to get his face - which is amazingly interesting - but he was on wood chips and hardly showed up at all.

Otherwise, I had an uninteresting spider or pairs of mating bugs. Honestly, I saw THREE pair of the same kind of bugs - a head on each end, with their tale ends stuck together - all at the same time (in different spots). It was like the Stepford Wives bell had gone off, and it was time! Hmmm.....
