A dull start. Me working N not so having dropped daughter off at 7am for her work experience drove to Penicuik early and marched him round the boundaries, the full way round Penicuik Estate. In work by 8.30am
New optometrist started today with the intention for me to mentor her. Recently qualified and a language barrier didn’t help her day and unfortunately she ran late all day despite only four patients so the rest of the staff rather frantic. At the worst, one patient was in for two hours, the wife kept phoning probably thinking he’d eloped!
Really felt for her however we are all aware of our limitations and perhaps she could have made us aware of hers.
Hmm Interesting times ahead.
