Lesser Whitethroat

I heard the lesser whitethroats calling when they arrived from sub-Saharan Africa in April but they are skulking warblers which are very difficult to capture. This morning I heard the short teck call of a few individuals and was lucky to get the above shot.

I've added an image of a thistle, complete with bee, to extras for my personal coronation invitation challenge. I've only got to get a scarlet pimpernel, a cornflower and an Adonis blue butterfly now.
