A better day

After the difficult day yesterday, it was a relief to have more success today, even though I slept badly last night.

The meeting with OpenReach and the site engineers this morning identified the cause of the problem of the missing internet and a possible solution.

I was on the case of the final boxes to be emptied and this afternoon we made our first visit to the local waste disposal centre. It’s easy to find, on our way to Tesco’s, and is a manageable size so that I don’t do a mini marathon running round looking for the appropriate container. 

We had a car full of stuff and it’s good to think that we are contributing to the generation of electricity. 

As we were out and about we headed to B&Q to get some support for the clematis bought at the weekend. I plan to grow it against the garden wall and need suitable fixatives.
