Bird poo

UpUpa Epops The pilot of this Air Craft was also an ornithologist(he studied birds) . Apparently he received a "dear John" letter and so named his plane upupa epops which is a bird that poops in its nest and then can't fly. That's what the guy who works there told me. Don't know if it's true at this point , but it does make for a good story.
My husband and I went to the Flying History Center that is owned by Paul Alen. It was free for all Veterans, and since we are both former Air Force vets. I told him let's go!! Also it was raining, so why not. We also got great parking for being a vet which was cool. I do get excited over little things apparently!!
