Courgette Flower

The gardeners in Pollok Park were incredibly busy this morning when Holly and I were enjoying our walk.

One team were digging over the beds where the tulips had been preparing them for some very large feature plants which will be surrounded by bedding plants.

The second team were in the veggie garden putting up supports and continuing to prepare the soil.
There are already some pumpkin, squash and courgette flowers. They all look exactly the same but thankfully there is a label beside the supports and the label beside this one said Courgette. Those vegetables all belong to the same plant family .... Cucurbits ..... so says Google.
