Castlerigg Stone Circle

We drove up through the lakes to Bassenthwaite Lake Station for afternoon tea with dear friends, G&A.  This was to celebrate, their 70ths and my 65th last week.  It was delicious and great fun and it was lovely to catch up with them.

From here to Castlerigg for a blip.  It took some time to get the stones without people sitting on them but I got there eventually.

Lovely drive home through the lakes on another scorching day.
