Farewell Coll - until next time
We were so sad to leave Coll this morning, but we consoled ourselves in the knowledge that we will be back. I took the photo in my blip from the Calmac ferry as we made the crossing back to Oban. Also en route we played Scrabble. I won this game, so the season's score is currently 2-2.
On arrival on the mainland, we retraced our route back along the cycle path from Oban to Benderloch to Mr hazelh's uncle's house. A cup of tea, bath (hurrah!), and a change of clothes set us up for an evening out with John and Jane at the Old Inn. Fingal (the dog) waited patiently for us in the car while we enjoyed steak and chips. Then he scampered around happily on a short walk with us. In the extra he is guarding 'his' castle. (Fingal is a fan of Mr hazelh, as seen in an earlier journal entry from 31st July 2021.)
Exercise today: 10.5 miles of cycling; walking (6177 steps).
