Carder Bee

I think that's what it is anyway. It was busy on the hardy geranium album. This is a handy plant for shade but it always develops a powdery mildew at this time of year. The bees don't seem to mind though and there were lots buzzing around this morning. 

We have east coast weather again and it's quite chilly under the cloud. Yesterday it all burned off and the afternoon was warm and sunny. I hope the same thing happens again because I'm going for a walk with a friend. Nowhere very exciting or picturesque  - the pharmacy at Sainsbury in fact - but I'd prefer a bit of sunshine as we walk and chat. 

The day started with zoom coffee and four of the five of us were there. Wind down yoga later. A helpfully undemanding day.
