Helpless

This little blue tit fledgling, if not pre fledgling was sitting near the front door, motionless!!
To leave it was too dangerous , Trevor and Leo were around,but to remove it was a worry in case the parents were watching !
Decided to pick it up and keep it in a dark box and offered it caterpillars and suet.
Though it seemed a bit livelier no food was eaten so I put it on a high ledge in the garden in the hope the parents might see it.
There it sat for over an hour!
When I returned later it had gone…oh hope I did my best.
