A Sea of Flowers

I know I photograph these flowers every year at Portland Bill but they are just so stunning .Mesembryanthemums ( what a wonderful name ) ! 
I drove home from the Midlands and after leaving just before 8:0 am , I broke my own record and did it in two and a quarter hours . So we were able to go down to the Bill, stopping for lunch en route . We put our chairs on the rocks and it was just completely relaxing sitting there with only the sound of the waves.
