Plenty of good grazing in that field

There were seven horses in the field but these two were the only ones to come close enough for a photo.

When I went out this morning I noticed that one of my pieris bushes was covered with dead leaves and no sign of new growth at all. The smaller branches just broke off in my hand so this afternoon I started cutting as many of the branches as I could and then I will ask Kieran to remove the rest when he and his team next visit for grass cutting.
