1876 Again

Yesterday it was all about the pub which (allegedly) opened in 1876. Today I sat in the churchyard, waiting for a squirrel, but they were on strike today. I got a shot of this jackdaw though, and then noticed the 1876 again. Strange coincidence.

In the extra, a coachload of visitors arrived at the church. There were 41 of them. I felt sorry for whoever was on welcoming duty at the church today. Of course it could be a pre-arranged tour.

Camera club pub meeting this evening. There was a panic email yesterday when it was realised that the suggested pub was closed on Mondays. Good job somebody realised it in time. As the new programme secretary I could have got the blame for the mix up, although the arrangements were nothing to do with me.
