Almost the Sun

The vague suggestion of sunlight breaking through the cloud was as far as things got, a vague suggestion. It has rained most of the day and very soon after I took this shot it clouded over again with grey, miserable skies.
The Sun has gone very quiet anyway. There is little in the way of sunspot activity but solar wind from a coronal hole in its atmosphere is heading towards Earth and is due to reach us on the 2nd/3rd June. There will be a chance of geomagnetic storms and auroral activity.
