Catherine Le Pelley Steps…

This fits the MonoMonday challenge of light because right at the top of the pic you can see the old street light which shines into my bedroom window at night. 
The States policy is to leave the weeds to their own devices. Not sure I like it. It’s not too bad here because there is still plenty of space to use the steps even if you want to hold the handrail. But there are venelles where the weeds are definitely taking up too much space.
