Another day at home

Geez the weather has been pants! We seem to go from lovely sunny weather to very rainy days like today was.
Eva went to bed at 10.30 pm last night and slept through til 8.45 am and was back asleep as usual after her feed, wash and dress by about 10.30am after our usual sing song on the bed consisting of Row Your Boat and See Saw. It's amazing how she has that much sleep yet not long after she wakes, she's spark out again.
We did lots of tummy time today and singing. Today's pic was taken after shed been sitting on my lap while I sang The Animals Went in 2 By 2 to her around 2pm, she fell fast asleep on my lap so I grabbed her fluffy pink blanket and snuggle bunny and lay her down on her play mat, she looked sooo cuddly.
Grandad came round in the afternoon and we played against each other at Countdown while it was on tv, I kicked his ass by getting one of the number rounds and the conundrum lol!
He spent ages singing to Eva and making her laugh, I took some video footage in fact, it was so lovely seeing her smiley face looking up at him.
On the night we all watched The Lorax which was a good film I thought. Amazing how even back then Dr. Seuss was so environmentally spot on of what the future would behold. A lovely film but sad at the same time. I was trying to give Eva her feed at one point but even she wanted to watch it and kept trying to turn her head towards the tv while I was trying to feed her.
It's 10 pm as I write this and she's had a feed and is lying spark out on my lap. I guess it's time to carry my baby girl up to her bed xxx
