Cycle ride first thing. London Road was quiet, down Abbeyfield to Holyrood where there was a run setting up, but no sign of an imminent start. Around the Queen's Road for most of the circle, getting out at Holyrood Park Road. Cycle paths to the Meadows, back down the Mound. A cool E wind, pleasant light. 

Swan walk later to Inverleith. All 5 cygnets in good order, growing. Several cricket matches in progress.
