Winter Rose

Even though we are into winter, I still have a lot of roses flowering, and they are an absolute joy.  
Dispite the terrible forecast for today, it has been really mild and a perfect day for gardening.  Both morning and afternoon, making good progress - just  three more days weather permitting and it will be done for the winter.  
We will prune the roses when we return from Townsville.

This one I love, its frilly edge and colour.  I stood on the lawn and zoomed in to 600mm, the trees around the perimeter of our garden have successfully given the darker background.
