Cranes and trucks

The crane and the fire truck were the stars today, as the twins moved them around the rooms and outdoors.  At one point Max hooked the fire truck to the crane and dragged it around and then out to the patio steps.  I was glad Doug caught him before Max could pull them down the steps and hurt himself.  In the other photo, you can see Doug reading "The Gas We Pass" (yes, that's what it's about) with them, with the vehicles close by.  I offered to read to the boys, but there were no takers.  We had a delicious dinner and ended the day a bit early.  Next weekend we will be celebrating Manda's milestone birthday and she will be choosing the menu.

I think that dreadful medication is finally out of my system, as I'm feeling much better.  I have more energy and feel pretty clear-headed.  It's a great relief.
