Collecting / digging / picking rumble to fill the end of the path to the bridge then compacting it in layers with my stomper.
A layer of membrane to suppress weeds followed by the gravel. The next operation involves raking the whole length of the main gravel path which might be better done on a cooler day than those currently forecast.
