Ribble at Alston

Very peaceful early walk along the Ribble, saw the kingfisher twice, plus herons, wagtail, kestrel and buzzard. Halfway round a very elderly border terrier ran up and I walked the rest of the way round with its very cheery owner. This put me in a happy place ready for shopping. Returned home, and set off on another glorious walk. Bumped into a family of friends I haven’t seen for a while and was lovely to catch up.
