Under our nose!
Yesterday we looked for the bee orchids around Sheskinmore Reserve, some, 8 were showing in a new area, the 6 from last weekend at another area are down to 2, at least 2 eaten, 1 was burnt & another has disappeared! It is early for them, so hopefully more will be visible next weekend.
Back again today, this one was near the entrance & we only saw it, due to the caravan site owner out showing it to a caravaner. We pass nearby when we access the beach so it was more or less inder our nose. I am tagging it for WFW, thanks Miranda.
It was another fabulous day weather wise, Bubbles found a lovely cool rockpool, see extra.
This morning there was a lot of early squirrel activity, I am 99% sure there were 4 separate reds in the trees near the garden at the same time, there may have even been 5 as they were chasing each other through the tree canopy, so it was hard to see them all.
