Not My Garden!
Sadly. While ours is colourful, it is not a patch on this one. It fronts onto the river at the bottom of a steep-sided valley and is beautifully planned. There is an entire bank of rhododendron which cannot be seen in this view, and because it goes up the side of the valley, it is spectacularly enormous. It's a pleasure to drive or walk past this garden.
Trip to the dentist went well. He just took of the temporary cap and fitted the new one - all over in about fifteen minutes, and hopefully I won't have to go back again. After that, I went out to a relatively new nature reserve called 'Wacker Quay'. It was a really nice walk along the Lynher River, but there wasn't much wildlife about - just a couple of shelduck in the distance and I could hear a curlew calling. The path turned away from the river a bit too quickly, so I lost sight of the saltmarsh.
I think it will be better on a winter day, when the over wintering birds are around. I may well try it again then.
