Sipping

Another domestic day today. I decided to make jam from yesterday's apricots, and I also started off a loaf with my now revived starter. Made a big pot of pasta e fagioli in case S was hungry when he got home (spoiler: he was).

In the afternoon T came over to collect the stuff we'd brought back from Spain for them, and stayed for tea and a chat. Later I had the pleasant surprise of bumping into A and B, who I thought were in Scotland, so a date was made for tomorrow. Then a quick blip walk. I don't think I'll ever get a fast enough shutter speed to capture a hummingbird hawkmoth's wings, but I was pleased I captured its very long proboscis.
