Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Our last day in Almaty. We headed to the central museum, it was great to get a better sense of the history of the country. Usefully for us less able to read Russian or Kazakh, much of the info was also in English!

We had a wander in the city afterwards before heading to the airport late afternoon for a flight to the capital Astana with Rosie. The city on first viewing looks quite different to Almaty (see extra). Tomorrow Rosie is back at university in the city so we will be doing a bit of city sightseeing.
