Small Copper

B and I joined JohnRH & W for a circular walk around the Bayfield Estate in the pretty Glaven Valley this morning.  It was a glorious day, warm sun, although a cool wind, but not a problem in the more sheltered areas of our walk.

This tiny butterfly landed on the grass in front of us.  I wasn't sure what it was but have since looked it up and it's a small copper.

The extra is of a couple of bugs mating on a wild rose flower, could they be musk beetles?
